Who We Are

The Lord calls each of us to use the gifts and talents that He has given us. Youth Music Outreach (YMO) is committed to helping young musicians find those gifts, tune them, and use them to proclaim God’s love to people of all nations. The primary emphasis in YMO is Christ-likeness, making it a truly unique experience for young Christian musicians. Whether a beginner or advanced musician, students learn how to play with others, be a team player, and support and be supported. YMO enables students to watch what happens when their hard work pays off when they are able to touch an audience with the music. When you add to this equation a celebration of God’s love, YMO ensembles truly make their music come alive to impact diverse audiences all over the community.

Summer Music Camp

July 5-18, 2009

Youth Music Outreach is pleased to host its 2009 Summer Music Camp at Vanguard University. Vanguard is located in Costa Mesa, California, a coastal community about 50 miles south of Los Angeles and minutes from the beach. Noted as one of the top five colleges in the western region by U.S. News & World Report, Vanguard assumes that it is essential to offer educational opportunity within a context of free inquiry and academic integrity. The Orange County Performing Arts Center, The South Coast Repertory Theatre, and the Irvine-Barclay Theatre are just minutes away from the Vanguard University campus.
