Concert and Ministry Opportunities |
| |
At the YMO Summer Music Camp, students will be given the unique opportunity to not only learn great music, but also use this music to share God’s love with those around them. Throughout the two weeks, we will be performing a variety of concerts for church services, retirement homes, and other community events around the Orange County Area. The camp will conclude with a final concert open to family, friends, and community members on Saturday, July 18, at 2:00 PM. |

Team Competitions |
| |
Each student will be placed on a team for the two weeks. Each team will receive a team color and participate in various friendly competitions. Students will receive their team color in their registration packet, and may bring items to help promote team spirit with them to camp. More information about team spirit will be included in the registration packet. |

Devotions |
| |
Based on the foundation that we do all things for and through Christ, every aspect of YMO is designed to draw students closer to God. Each day, students will also be led in morning and evening devotions. Each morning, a small devotion will be given, and students will break up into small groups to discuss the topic and pray for one another. Evening devotions will be an in depth discussion designed to challenge students to become more like Christ, devoted to Him in every aspect of life.

Meals |
| |
Most meals will be taking place on the Vanguard campus. Breakfast will be made and eaten in the cafeteria, giving students a wide variety of choices from cereal to fruit and muffins. Each student will be responsible to make their own sack lunch for the day, given choices of sandwich fixings, as well as various side choices. Dinners will be made by members of the community and then brought onto the campus for home-cooked atmospheres. (On ministry concert days, students may have meals provided by the location or at a local restaurant.)
Please note - Special consideration will be made for students with food allergies. Please make a note of any allergies on the medical form.

Dorm Life |
| |
Students will be staying in the dorms during the summer music camp. Most students will be staying two to a room (a few may have three in the room), and will be matched up randomly based on varying factors. Guys and girls will be located on separate floors with chaperones assigned to each level. (Guys and girls will not be allowed to enter each others floors.)
Laundry facilities will also be available for students during their two-week stay. Prices for laundry will be included in the acceptance packet.
Chaperones have been trained and chosen to provide guidance and direction to all students, offering them a warm and loving “family” atmosphere. Students will be chaperoned during all daily and evening activities.
