Designed for the advanced high school jazz musician, our Jazz Band offers a unique ministry opportunity. Students in Jazz Band create a wide repertoire of music, ranging in style and genre, which is used to minister in several concerts throughout the semester. Concerts will include several retirement homes, community events, and other activities in the La Mirada area. (Most concerts take place during the regular Jazz Band rehearsal time, however, some additional concerts times will be required).

September 13-December 18, 2010 75.00 (plus $25 family registration fee if not enrolled in Fall 2009)
Rehearsal Time: Tuesday 5:00-6:30

Requirements
New students need to audition or contact the director prior to rehearsals.
Each student should practice at least five days a week, thirty minutes a day.
Students should take weekly private lessons.
Students are expected to participate in all rehearsals, concerts and fundraisers.
